Why did I change the name of my blog?

The past month has been spent working my way through the 73 CDs that make up the monumental Grateful Dead - Europe '72: The Complete Recordings box set. Midway through the tour an audience member shouts out a request for the band to play the Jefferson Airplane psychedelic anthem "White Rabbit."

Bob Weir promptly responds: "We're not going to play that one tonight...but we are going to go to the same place. Spokes on the wheel."

That pretty much sums up my approach to this blog, hence the name change. It's not about any one thing (in fact, some times it may not be about anything at all) but all the topics are interrelated.

I plan on posting show-by-show blogs for each of the 22 shows on the Europe '72 tour. Do yourself a favor and get your hands on a copy of the shows (I will do my best to post a link to an Mp3 version of the show) and play along at home. Trust me - you won't be disappointed.
